Terms of Service
By using VectorGraph, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
1. The Service
VectorGraph provides an entirely browser-based, offline-first tool for digitizing mathematical plots, charts, and graphs. The tool operates using client-side WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and advanced Computer Vision algorithms.
2. Limitation of Liability and "AS IS" Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY (INCLUDING FINANCIAL LOSS, ENGINEERING FAILURE, OR ACADEMIC RETRACTION) ARISING FROM THE USE OF EXTRACTED DATA. You must manually verify all critical data.
3. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
Your Data: You retain complete ownership and copyright of any original images you upload to the tool, as well as the CSV, JSON, and XLSX data files you extract from them. VectorGraph claims no rights to your extracted data.
Our Engine: The VectorGraph application interface, specific Pixel Harvest algorithms, logos, and UI designs are the intellectual property of VectorGraph.
4. Acceptable Use and API Restrictions
While the core extraction runs offline, certain features (like Excel export) utilize a backend API to format data. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the VectorGraph backend API.
- Send automated, scripted, or maliciously large payloads (Denial of Service) to the Excel export endpoint.
- Bypass or attempt to bypass the rate-limiting (`slowapi`) implemented on the server.
Violation of these rules will result in an immediate and permanent IP ban from the backend services.
5. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the VectorGraph service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. Because the app is offline-first, you can technically continue using a cached version indefinitely via the Service Worker, but we do not guarantee indefinite API uptime for Excel exports.
